Academic medical centers from across the United States and Canada came together at the 2017 national conference to celebrate high value care and share value-based improvement projects. Nearly 200 clinicians, house staff members and administrators from 70 medical centers attended the conference. Innovative work to improve health care value from 50 institutions in the U.S. and Canada were featured through 140 podium and poster presentations.

The program included lectures from renowned faculty leaders in high value care. Additionally, presentations described innovative curricula developed by academic medical centers for undergraduate and graduate medical education to instill high value practice in future generation of physicians.
