2018 Abstract Submission Information

The abstract submission site is open!

The HVPAA welcomes the submission of abstracts for its annual meeting, which will take place in Baltimore, Maryland on September 21-23, 2018. The mission of the HVPAA annual conference is to broadly advance quality improvement initiatives that have safely improved health care value, investigate safety outcomes to ensure that practice refinement does not compromise diagnostic or therapeutic efficacy, and determine the most effective methodologies to improve the value of care providers deliver.

Any medical center may submit a value-based quality improvement, research or educational curriculum abstract to be considered for oral podium or paper poster presentation. Submission deadline is April 1, 2018 at midnight PST. Published data and previously presented projects will be considered for poster presentation only (not for podium presentation). Educators may submit medical school, GMEC and CE/CME curricula that have been implemented. Poster presentations of any kind do not require attendance at the conference.

Preference will be given to value improvement initiatives demonstrating improved patient care quality, confirmation of patient care safety, and reduction in costs of care for patients. Additionally, we encourage projects that include student or trainee collaborators. The abstract review committee consists of HVPAA faculty representatives.
